Where is the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, national government release
K100 million as a Mulitaka disaster relief funds. Where is that money,
where is Gov. Ipatas, where is the money. People have been misplaced by
the landslides which caused thousands of people lives, properties destroyed,
people were buried by the land slides, government inactive approached to
searched the dead bodies caused them to disappear in the landslide. People
were mourning to this day. Marape and Ipatas were never to be seen after
they visited the landslide some months back, promise to bring relieve supplies,
promised to resettle the affected people, promised to remove the slips
are all in vain, both went into hibernation. Papua New Guinea where are
we heading when we have no care leaders like these people leading this
country. People show their frustrations, Porgera will shut down, all bridges
remove, all heavy haulage truck burn down into aches. All roads leading
to Porgera shut down. Stop deploying security forces to cover up your shits
Marape and Ipatas. Don't use them as your shield whole you are the real
devil causing all these human disaster in Porgera and other parts of the
country. All avenues mentioned namely: Legal Channels, Writing to Elected
Representatives, Local Leaders, Community Organizations, Human Rights Organizations,
Social Media and Press, NGOs Participation in advocacy efforts, Organize
a petition or campaign but the Government of Papua New Guinean's don't
care and what else can we do for our country?

Firstly i sympathize for the innocent people and NPL that are affected by the ongoing tribal fights and warfares occurring in the western parts of Enga province especially Porgera and now Mulitaka. I of my own conscience percieved that the Government should step in and investigate the root causes of these killings and issues affecting the normal operations of the NPL and nobel citizens. There is always a root cause of any problem and every problem has a solution. If its a payback killing then it can be addressed at the provincial level but if it is triggered by other pending issues involving the mine the Government need to immediately intervene and addressed appropriately. 1. The recent tribal fighting in Porgera that claimed many lives was caused by some underlying reasons. From my point of view, that fights wont instigate if the people live on SML area were relocated back then. That would have happened before the reopen of the mine and Its still pending now. SoE is not a solution but an approach to restore normalcy. The problem was not solved. 2. Roadblock and burning down of proberties in Mulitaka is happening due to some underlying reasons. That area was hit by a catastrophic landslide that claimed hundreds of lives recently. Many countries, organizations, aiders, business houses, companies and individuals pledged their sorrowful sympathies through cash and kind. There was a significant amount of money donated for restoration and rebuilding of the affected people and the victims are fully aware of the total amuont aided. The Government must distribute the money to the affected people to start over their lives. Where is the money? How are they planning to relieve these people? I guess this might be the cause to the recent roadblocks and damaging of company properties. Pending of Government intervention and sliding in doing the right thing leads to such issues affects innocent people. When Justice is denied or not served, people tend to do it their way to seek justice and its call TRADITIONAL JUSTICE. This will likely to be the trend where people reach Government's attention and have what they want by taking Traditional Justice. E.g now someone announce where the money is and how they're going to distribute. See, we are heading into a worst case scenario where we'll fight for what is rightful ours and we'll get it by losing innocent lives and damaging properties. That isn't sound right but its happening. To conclude Government must do the right at first place and save innocent lives, propery damages and millions of kina funded to SOE. SoE is not a solution to the problem but that helps restore normalcy. As i said problem arises has a root cause and every probelm has a solution. Again, my sympathies to the innocent people of Maip-Mulitaka and Porgera-Paialia affected by this issue. Peace in the West.
